National Mounted Warfare Foundation Wins A Telly In Cause Marketing
Here at AMS, we love to brag on our fabulous clients any chance we get! And today, we’re pleased to not only announce that our client, nay, partner, the National Mounted Warfare Foundation was the recipient of a 2012 Telly Award—taking home a bronze in the cause marketing category—but also that the NMWF made their official debut to the Killeen and surrounding area business communities this past Tuesday.
Military Matters News Story
You can read the story here.
It was a whirlwind of Central Texas leaders welcoming the NMWF to the ever-growing City of Killeen, and the foundation leadership informing the local community of the organization’s mission and goals. The day was filled with multiple ribbon cuttings and many photo opportunities for the throngs of community ambassadors, elected officials, and chamber of commerce members in attendance—and more cookies and punch than this AMSer needed. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the success of this fledgling nonprofit and the recent news of our award!

It was also a chance to take a moment to commemorate our freedom and give thanks to those who enabled us to have a reason to celebrate next week on July 4th. We can’t wait to continue to build our partnership with the NMWF for such an important cause. Look for more news about the National Mounted Warfare Foundation as they kick their capital campaign into overdrive!
The NMWF is an established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created with a unique mission—to build a modern, family-friendly museum that enables visitors to make a personal connection with mounted warfare Soldiers. If you listen carefully to their stories and to the diverse voices of the storytellers—wives, husbands, children, parents, grandparents, uncles, cousins and neighbors—you may hear the echo of your own voice and feel the beat of your heart because, in a way, we are all a part of the untold stories.
