Sara joined the AMS Public Interest team in 2008 with a background in both copywriting and film production, including marketing campaigns for a diverse array of companies, ranging from MTV to The University of Texas at Austin to e-commerce start-ups. As the Senior Producer/Writer, Sara now leads the AMS Public Interest creative team to make sure that every project is crafted and executed in the most innovative, engaging and results-driven manner possible. Advising and directing creative from the first day to the last, Sara knows how to connect all the dots to ensure total project success.
Further flexing her creative muscles, Sara has spent the past few years as the executive producer for the Texas Education Agency’s statewide GEAR UP project—producing more than 50 diverse college-readiness videos targeting at-risk students, as well as overseeing the development of three websites, a mobile app and outreach materials too numerous to even begin to count. She has also produced campaigns and supporting materials for the Texas Department of State Health Services, Utah Department of Health, Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce, Texas Rowing Center, Texas A&M International University and SXSWedu.
