Since 2001, AMS Pictures has been an integral part of the product development team for the Texas Education Agency’s statewide GEAR UP project. GEAR UP is designed to increase the number of at-risk students who are prepared to enter and succeed in higher education.

Currently AMS is developing an ongoing series of scripted videos for Texas GEAR UP’s new Own Your Own Future website (ownyourownfuture.com). Aimed directly at students, these short videos pass along valuable college-readiness information in engaging, easy-to-digest chunks. They’re also being paired up with accompanying classroom activities that teachers can use to supplement college prep lessons.
